It started on the water
We are Courtney and Andrew, a husband-and-wife team out of Ohio. The water is home base, but it does not stop there. If it floats, rolls, or tows, it is part of our life, and that shaped everything about this company.
AquaClean started on the docks of Lake Cumberland and was designed from a hospital room. This is how AquaClean got here.
The road here
Detailing from day one
Andrew starts detailing as a teenager, learning the trade on boats and building a reputation for work that is done right, not done fast.
The dock
Both of our families had kept boats at State Dock on Lake Cumberland for years, on different rows, so we had never actually met. A mutual friend introduced us, and that was that.
Aqua Supply Co.
We start our parent company, Aqua Supply Co., with big plans for the boating world and a detailer's standards.
Everything changes
In April 2020, Andrew is diagnosed with stage 4 testicular cancer and spends most of that year in the hospital. Detailing boats for a living is no longer in the cards. So from his hospital bed, he starts designing a different future: a product line built on everything 15 years of detailing taught him.
Two years of testing
Andrew connects with chemists and blenders, and formula testing begins. It runs for almost two years. Every formula had to beat the products he had trusted for years, or it got scrapped.
AquaClean launches
The product line goes live, built from scratch and tested the long way. The goal from that hospital room was not to stop detailing. It was to build something his body could keep up with, without lowering the standard he had spent 15 years setting.
Still family-run
AquaClean is sold online, in marinas, and at dealerships across the country, for boats, cars, trucks, RVs, campers, and powersports. It is still family-run, out of our warehouse in Ohio, with a blue heeler named Turbo supervising operations.
Why it's different
Plenty of companies sell detailing products. Very few were built like this.
Not private label
We do not slap our name on generic formulas. Every product started as a real problem Andrew ran into on a real boat, truck, or RV, and was built to solve it.
A real small business
No call centers and no runaround. AquaClean is a small, family-run company, and the people behind the products are the same people answering your emails and packing your orders.

Andrew
Detailing since 16. The product brain: formulas, testing, sourcing, and the standard every bottle has to meet. If it would not go on his own boat, truck, or RV, it does not ship.
Courtney
The eye behind AquaClean. If it looks like the brand, it came from her: every label, banner, and design, plus the marketing and this website.
Turbo
Blue heeler. Runs warehouse security and the entire morale department. Paid in treats and boat rides, and nothing ships without his inspection.
